Born To Run

I recently was recommended a book by my sister called Born To Run by Christopher McDouglas and I have to say I am liking it. I’m only up to chapter 5 but I just want to quote a couple of sentences that made me get goosebumps;

“There’s something so universal about that sensation, the way running unites our two most primal impulses: fear and pleasure. We run when we’re scared, we run when we’re ecstatic, we run away from our problems and run around for a good time.”

New places to travel…

Wowe, I just discovered some beautiful places I would like to visit before I die. There really is some incredible places in the world and I need to get my ass out of this country and go visit these sorts of places…

^ This is Takeshang Gompa, Tiger’s Nest Monastery in Bhutan. I would literally love to stay in that monastery and get up at sunrise and do all the things the Buddhists do, one day! More pictures of the beautiful Bhutan can be found here.

^Next we have Tuvalu which is isolated in the middle of Micronesia. It is the 3rd least populated country on Earth the 4th Smallest!

Now this is in ^ Japan, a country I have always wanted to visit since I was little. I have actually heard recently that Japan is overrated but this won’t stop me from eventually visiting it. Who can resist their beautiful countryside and culture?

Last but not least New Zealand. A country I have only heard good things about, a must me thinks, a place to visit before I die!
